Confusion in Owerri over alleged escape of lion from zoo

There was pandemonium in Owerri for the greater part of Tuesday morning, when news of the alleged escape of a hungry lion from the Nekede Zoo spread like wild fire.............. While most residents of community quickly closed shop and ran into the safety of their homes, some parents were seen racing to schools to pick their children.,,,,,,,........ Source recalls that not long ago, the State House of Assembly set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate an allegation that a lion in the same zoo was said to have killed and consumed its kind. It was not clear a press time if the House Committee had finished their investigation and given a report on their findings about the story before the current alarm rented the air............... When contacted on his mobile line, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Andrew Enwerem, confirmed that the Police Command got wind of the alarm and quickly reacted appropriately................. “The Command received this distress call and quickly reacted appropriately by putting the citizens on notice............... However, after proper investigation, it was discovered that it was a false alarm”, Enwerem said.

Coming after i learnt that the Facebook new policy for page owners, is that new now have to pay for those that liked your page to see your updates on thier newsfeed, which is quite expensive. I decided to dial *406*1# to subsribe to the enhanced pulse data plan. It kept reporting this Error message. I now called the customer care line and they told me that unfortunately it has been discontinued that the plan you can purchase is 10MB for 100 Naira. Which way forward Nigeria?

When A Virtue Becomes A Sacriledge

This morning here in portharcourt as we were going to work, I entered a keke. Inside the keke was this lady. She gave the driver a 1000 naira note for a 50 naira journey. As usual the driver started abusing her by calling her names, held her that she must give him his money that he didn't have change. I pitied this lady and gave the keke man 100 naira note for both of us. As I was going the lady ran to me and said " uncle please a minute". I looked back and saw her rushing and I said please don't worry ok! She thanked me and requested for my phone number. I gave it to her but, suprisingly few minutes ago my phone rang and I checked it was her. She sent me a 100 naira wort of mtn recharge card and a message followed it which red. "jst take this card ok, though you helped me but, I hate guys that are as loose as you to spend for a lady you don't know may be it's a good business deal for you enjoy" please my people did I do bad? A lady has helped me like that before.
